Warming Cinnamon Porridge
Celebrate mum this Mother’s Day by whipping up some French Toast to serve to her in bed. I promise you this French Toast is DELICIOUS! In fact, while you’re at it, it might be wise to whip up some for yourself as well ;)
INGREDIENTS
1/4 cup oats
1 cup milk of choice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbspn honey
1/2 banana, sliced
METHOD
1. Place the oats, milk and cinnamon in a small saucepan over high heat. Stir to combine.
2. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to medium and simmer until thick, creamy and the oats have cooked through this should take about S-7 minutes).
3. Continue to stir while the mixture is simmering so it doesn't stick to the bottom of the saucepan.
4. Once cooked, remove from the heat and stir in the honey.
5. Serve with sliced banana.
6. Enjoy!
